Our expertise is in contracting in environmentally sensitive areas with our sympathetic approach to each site. We have an excellent record of working on all types of site from National Nature Reserves to Forestry Commission woodlands.
DMS have undertaken many types of restoration work from river back improvements to major moorland/lowland mire restoration projects. We are able to adapt to every situation and feel that working together in harmony with the client achieves the intended goal. We have worked on many restoration projects and have achieved excellent results on site which were deemed un-restorable. We, as a matter of course, undertake a number of detailed surveys to assess the site and existing project proposals. We will produce a report with our recommendation and liaise with the client to achieve what’s best for that site.
Wherever possible we look to use materials and restoration techniques with are sympathetic to the sites ecology. To achieve the best aesthetic and environmental effect we use quality locally sourced materials and native plant seed mixtures, indigenous to the area. Materials like plastics and concrete are used where the modern day demands warrant it, however they are hidden and a traditional facade will prevail.
