Track Surface Crushing

Some tracks have sufficient stone content, however many have a very rough mixture of larger stone and slab together with much smaller stone and soil. One option for this type of track is to surface crush the stone and incorporate it with the exposed soil. DMS are equipped and skilled at undertaking this type of track work and can ensure that the finished track surface is unrecognisable compared to the old.

Moreover, this treatment is actually a very quick and inexpensive means of increasing the usability of a track.

The incorporation of soil into this sort of track also has the effect of softening the visual impact of a track within its surroundings as larger surfaces of lighter colour stone are broken down and mixed with the darker colour of the soil.

Where tracks are used for access for land maintenance purposes, a surface crushed track enables easy and durable access to remote areas.
