Severe surface erosion on peat and soil substrates can open up large scars where water flows and where surface water drips. As the scar deepens more substrate is exposed and this can cause oxidation and issues of discoloration and silt in watercourses.

DMS are specialists in remedying this type of problem by re-profiling the exposed edges to form slopes that can then be re-vegetated to bring stability to the substrate, preventing oxidation and halting the cycle of erosion.
